Solomon Douglas
Solomon Douglas is a beloved dance teacher, musician and bandleader, known and respected throughout the worldwide swing dancing community; his bands have played at dance events everywhere. He now lives in Seattle, Washington, and continues to be extremely active both as a dance teacher and as a musician. I have played with his quartet, his duo (Corner Pocket) and his 10-piece big band (the Swingtet), as well as his band featuring singer Karen Maria Capo, at various lindy hop events and exchanges in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Boston, Sacramento, Montreal, Ottawa, and other cities.
